Does anyone remember MuchMusic? Jessie watches it sometimes and I just demand that she change the channel, it's like 15 crap then maybe, just maybe somethng that's not bad, or even possibly...could it be?? Good? Man I remember when all I did was watch Much...or Edge, but Edge is long dead(RIP, I will always miss your antics) and Much is in a coma. Seriously. I remember watching Bush, Korn, Greenday, No Doubt, White Stripes, OLP, and other bands that made me ever so happy. and every once in a while fall victim to a sneaky Britney Spears or Spice girls video. Or Nirvana, do you remember when Nirvana flooded the airwaves? I went on for years after Kurt Cobain died(RIP). I'm 21 and I sound like my mom did when I watched Much. I'm 4 years older than Jessie and I sound like a parent. I ask who this band is , she asks what I'm talking about, and I go into a speach about music in "my day". I'm slowly converting her, but man I feel like a douch, or some sort of pedofile talking about music with her. What the fuck happened, I know there are good bands out there but I can't find them. Theres a New Smashing pumpkins song out and I've only heard it once. I haven't heard a fucking note from the new white Stripes album. And what happened to Greenday? They made American Idiot(which I have found it in my heart to forgive them for) and then they fall off the map, are you guys ashamed? It's OK, we forgive you, the title song was terrible but you made up for it with an excellen album. Luckily I have the new NIN album to hold me over until something happens. On the other hand though I'm kinda scared of hearing anything new from bands I used to worship. Korn used to give me an errection everytime I heard them, now they make me shoot green vomit across the room like Linda Blair. OLP...what the fuck happened to OLP? THey had gravity which wasn't that bad and then they start shovelling out this new popy fucking garbage?!?! come on! Or Bush. Who here remembers Bush? Raise your hands. OK, they are a great band who never lost the quality of their music, but then they chang there name to "the New Bush" What the fuck!? Seriously check it out, as of Goldenstate they were "The New Bush", sorry but that seems a bit pretentios to me, it's like Prince but not nearly as bad. Or Gavins wife, who here remember NO Doubt? ANd who likes No Doubt and hated "RockSteady"? or ears bleed when listening to Gwen Stephani as a solo act? Oray with me:
Oh Great and holy bands of yesteryear(for tonight the 90's) please find it in your generous and deep hearts to once again grace us with your greatness again. Please try to make your Music good again, or just start playing Music again. We need your tunes to help us though the day.
